iConsult was first established in 2015 and has been working out of offices in Post Office Lane, Denbigh for most of that time. Early in 2022, business owner, Sam bought a large property on Love Lane, Denbigh. It was the property her Nain and Taid (Grandmother and Grandfather) had originally bought in 1968 and it was where they brought up their family, two sons and one daughter one of whom is Sam’s father. Sam had many happy memories of time spent at Love Lane but following her Nain’s death the house was sold. In 2022, however, the house came back on the market and Sam jumped at the chance to buy it.
With work completed on the house, Sam moved in with her wife and daughter and they spent twelve months enjoying their new home. Never one to rest on her laurels though, Sam then turned her attention to the outside area behind the house and decided there was an ideal opportunity there to transform one of the old derelict outhouses into a new office for iConsult. Work began in June of 2023 and iConsult moved into its impressive new working space at the beginning of September.
Just across the back yard from the new office is what was once a slaughterhouse and butchers’ shop and the history it holds is palpable. Sam will undoubtedly have plans for this area too but for now it is wonderful to look out of the windows and to think that a thriving business is once again being run from this property. iConsult has found its forever home as has Sam.
